Deck Beams

The deck beams went on next and really stiffened the hull. I was pretty keen to get these in place before turning the hull over.

First couple of beams in place. Note the strap holding everything together. The hull had a tendency to flop outwards and needed a helping hand to keep it at the correct width.

Here the proposed pump cover can be seen. This will change somewhat before final installation and will be a bit more rounded.
