Plywood Decking
The plywood decking was next on the agenda. I was having nightmares about this but it ended up being a snap. Firstly I faired the sheer, deck beams and the carling until they all lined up nicely. This was simple but fairly time consuming. I used a piece of scrap plywood and bent it over the various frames and, using a rasp and angle grinder, cut bevels and notches. I then used the angle grinder to remove the material between the notches. The angle grinder is my third favorite tool next to the battery drill and jig saw.
And here it is.

Pictures of me doing this are non existent due to lots of reasons – including camera trouble due to it being dropped onto the concrete floor by someone who will remain nameless (not me).
This picture shows the fiberglass strip that joins the decking to the side panels. This is where I had to grind the paint work away on the side panel to give the glass something to stick to.
